No per-image tagging

It appears Gallery 3 only supports per-folder (album?) tagging but no per-image tagging?

Suppose I have photos X and Y. X has person A, Y has persons A and B.

How do I tag them in a way that if I search for person B, only photo Y comes up?

Gallery 3 supports per-photo tagging. Click on the photo, then add the tag in the sidebar. We'll make that easier when we add our bulk editing interface.

Thanks. I see it now.

Unfortunately, all that shows is a site-wide tag cloud. I see no way of editing or even displaying the tags for a particular photo.

Editing, bulk editing and other tag features will be forthcoming.

@dingsbums: Yes. It already is possible in alpha 3. Try it and see!
