One image on main page, that leads to album

Anyone know how to create a main page similar to this site? So I would have one main image that will lead to the sub-albums under it? I tried to add an album to the root album, which works fine, and I can add more sub albums to that with images, but I can not seem to figure out how to make the image on the main page larger.. I'm looking for something similar to http://www2.ramoth.org/gallery/main.php Thanks!! |

Each album including the root album can have different sized thumbs, so in the case of the url provided:
* gecko theme
* only one sub album on the root album
* thumb size of 480 on root album
* sub albums have thumb size of 130
