Joomla 1.5 with Gallery 2.3

I successfully installed the bridge component, modules, and most of the plugins (it couldn't find the xml file in the cb plugin--but I don't need the cb plugin anyway). Paths are working and finding the site. However, my problem is that when I try to create a menu item in Joomla and select for the Gallery component, I get the usual screen asking for title and placement of link with a BIG view of the gallery page on the right side, but all the tools at the top for saving, applying, or cancelling are not there. So I can't determine how to save the menu item. Any suggestions? |

Discovered something else. When I went to the front end of my Joomla site, it was totally taken over by Gallery. The Gallery was on the home page of my Joomla site with Joomla no where to be found. I could still access the administrator area. When I disabled the modules and plugins, my Joomla site appeared again.
