Hello -
First of all, I am thoroughly enjoying working with Gallery 2. It is one great collaborative effort!
I have run into one situation that appears to not have been addressed, and I'd like to throw this idea out, as I would imagine I'm not the only one who could benefit.
I take a lot of sports photos, and am fnding a number of sequence shots that turn out to be rather interesting: one runner passing another at a track meet, a skater bumping into another and a resulting pileup, etc.
What would be awesome is if there was some way to show from the album's index view that a select group of photos was a sequence, which would help the photos make more sense. Since many people look at thumbs and then click the one's they want to see larger, they would then know to click the first one and then view the rest in that series for the full effect.
What do you think?
Thanks,
BW

Hi Bill,
That's an interesting idea. For various reasons that's unlikely to be included in a future release of Gallery2, but the development team (of which I'm not a part) might be grateful for the suggestion on the -devel mailing list. (Generally this is a forum for user-to-user support, rather than for contacting the development team.)
You'll find the mailing list details on this page: http://codex.gallery2.org/Mailing_Lists
You can also contact the development team "live", so to speak, on irc: details are here: http://codex.gallery2.org/IRC - although it will be hit or miss depending on timezones, who's online at the time etc as to whether your ideas will reach the right person.
Enjoy Gallery2!
