Heyaz

When I click on the link to moderate comments in site admin I get:

Item not found.
Error (ERROR_MISSING_OBJECT) : Missing object for 185178

Buffered debug, system info, and smarty console:

our canned response for this kind of error is:

DATA INTEGRITY:

Error (ERROR_MISSING_OBJECT) : Missing object for ...

some part of your g2 database isn't 100% ok, the data integrity is a little corrupted.
reason: unknown. fix: it's not easy, but you can fix the database manually, someone else had the similar issue and Valiant gave a few instructions:

We get this comment moderation error often, it's the only consistent error over time with G2, which is good :)

We'll try poking around in the database:

And let you know what happens

^ I tried your script. You may want to include that the root album check is recursive (also checks all sub albums) and to clear the database cache after running.

I ran the primary check and the derivative check on the root album. The derivative check found and deleted 20 entries. However, I still get the error page when I enter the comment moderation queue inside site admin.

Should I go into the database and delete everything related to each missing object ID?

thx again :D

Since comment is a separate module, I did not add any checking for its tables. You should remove any rows related to your missing items.

OK, if I do that, is it possible that I'll delete or damage photos in the gallery?

The missing object errors are all in the comment module (deleting the comment module removes the errors)

So you fixed it by removing the comment module? then you should not need to edit the DB.

Removing the comment module deletes all the comments in the gallery so I'd rather not do that every time this error pops up

So if I delete everything related to the missing object ID from the database, could that delete the original image from the gallery? Or will it only delete the corrupted comment from the moderation queue

:)
