Hi, I'm looking to host my gallery at a site where the main gallery files and my derivatives in g2data will reside locally, but the albums subdirectory would be mounted from a remote file system. While adding items, generating resized images or downloading the full image would obviously be slower, how frequently does G2 read the full image? For normal usage, where most users just view the resized images and thumbnails, will there be a significant performance impact? |

The EXIF module always reads from the full image. Other than that, this seems like a perfect solution.
Are there any plans to cache exif data?
