I am running gallery 6.x-1.x-dev
gallery2 version Gallery 2.2 Release Candidate 1
drupal 6.3

The gallery2 standalone works fine

I have several warnings and errors on the gallery config page in drupal

Quote:
Embedding API version is incompatible.

Gallery2 locations Error There is a problem with the Gallery2 location settings. Please check below and retest. Remember that the auto-config will not work for all hosts.

Drupal Modules / Gallery2 Plugins Warning

Clean URL / URL Rewrite Warning

Initial User Synchronization Error

I do know that the gallery2 standalone location url is correct and so its the gallery base url

not sure what else to do?

Thanks,

You need to install Gallery 2.3

Read again the module info

http://drupal.org/project/gallery

somewhere it says:

Please note that the D6 module requires the G2.3/svn version of Gallery2

you can find it at

http://www.rabinovich.org/G2/gallery-nightly.tar.gz

hope this hepls!

Yes that's the link to Gallery 2.3/svn

Also you can get them if you go to

http://codex.gallery2.org/Downloads

and at the right, where it says

Quote:
Latest experimental code (updated nightly):

you have more links.

Don't forget to get the full installation (21MB in *.zip, 14MB in *.tar.zip)

ok I got the correct version of gallery2 installed then upgrade with pretty much no issues. I then go into frupal to do configurations. Things seem to be going ok except for a few hipcups then all of sudden a got page full of errors and I can no longer get to any of my drupal modules configurations!!

I have attached the auto generated gallery error reports

I am not an expert, but I recommend you to read the documentation of gallery2 integration in drupal SEVERAL TIMES and go step by step. It took me also sometime to find out how to do it properly.

One thing very important is to set gallery first and then LOGOUT before you integrate it in drupal, because this is one of the things that can cause errors.

Clean also your cache and your cookies, just in case.

If you have nothing in gallery and nothing in Drupal try to install everything again. And put different prefixes in your database tables if you are sharing the same database for drupal and gallery2.

ok I reread the documentation several times. I checked with my webhost to make sure I have all paths correct. I made sure I was logged out of the stand alone gallery2. However when I upload the gallery module again I keep getting the same thing like its remembering the old bad settings so I end up where I was before. Is there anything I can do about this? Perhaps remove the stand alone gallery2 and start from scratch there too?

Thanks!!
