Hi, I'm new to using gallery2 and so far am liking it. One problem I have is flash (flv) video that I upload plays back much darker. I converted the video to .flv on my PC and after converting it was fine. Uploading via FTP to my server then used the "From local server" method to add the video. problem is when I play it in my browser in gallery2 its much darker. I don't understand what could cause this since I already made it flv and it was fine.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Ok it looks like the video was infact darker after encodeing. I used Riva FLV encoder. When the flv video is played in VLC it looks normal but if I play it with Riva's player its darker.

You should give MediaCoder a try.

Doesn't seam to want to do flash. Just get errors. Probably because im using vista idk. I have tried a couple other encoders and always get the same result. Dark video.

If you care to try ffmpeg mysite has a working installation of the Transcode module.
If you join mysite, you get your own useralbum and 100MB of space to tryout functionality like the transcode module.
