Custom upload fields

Hello,

I'm quite confused about it...

But how do you add custom fields on the upload item page ? :-S

Custom fileds are added after the items have been uploaded.
There is work on redesigning this, but will be some time before this happens.

Isn't it something a lot of people need, or am I the only one to request that.

Because for me it seems to be the main point of the Gallery 2 customization.

So how can i do that ? Customizing the themes? is it technicaly possible ?

You are not the only one to request. That is one of the reasons for the upload redesign.
As far as I know nobody has got round to implementing it. I would start by looking at the upload form method and see how far you can get.
There is a simple upload module but never tried it and don't know if it has what you are after.

Does anyone know, or developed something that is alike the mockup.

I would need a dropdownlist with all my albums, to have the ability to upload a picture anywhere on G2 from any emplacement.
And I would like the possibity to directly add custom fields information to the uploaded pictures.

Does anyone has a solution (sourceforge, developer resource) ? I would be able to pay for it

Not for some time probably in G2.4. We have not even finished G2.3.
