I'm trying to upgrade from 2.2.4 to 2.2.5 using a full install, i've uploaded the archive and successfully unzipped it (so cpanel tells me) but I don't get the upgrade page. I navigated to the upgrade page manually and ran through the steps but it's still showing 2.2.4

cheers for your time

did you click on "run" under Action in Site Admin > Maintenance? or just the + sign (which displays the output of the last "run"

use an FTP client and grab a copy of ~/g2data/versions.dat

if it's listed as 2.2.4 - then the upgrade was done somewhere else.

did you use an autoinstaller (within Cpanel) to setup G2 for the first time? how many existing G2 installations do you have running?

going through all the steps with the Upgrader > meaning, you actually went through the page that says something like "upgrading core to 2.2.5" through the last "visit gallery" page?

I'm lost myself, maybe someone else can point to the right direction.

no autoinstaller i originally downloaded the zip files from this site about two years ago

just one G2 Installation on the site

I can't recall if I saw "upgrading core to 2.2.5" though I could run through it again tmrw

maybe the zip is just not unzipping properly despite what it says?

I bet that's it. Try navigating to the README.html file in the base directory, scroll to the bottom, and paste the line by the copyright notice.

Hopefully it's something like "$Id: README.html 16577 2007-06-10 20:50:34Z mindless $"
