Well, ok, this might be a bit strange, but I cannot find a plugin for this, so wondering if anyone has any solutions. Basically, I want my gallery to be able to display my images, but provide a basic measure to prevent people right clicking and Save As.. (and no, I do not want to go to the javascript-disable-right-click path). My idea, is to embed a flash image viewer so that the image is shown, but via flash, so it cannot be (easily) saved. Somewhat simliar to how webshots.com protects their images. Anyone seen anything like this? Thanks! |

If it can bee seen it can be saved! You can make it difficult but not impossible for people to acquire your images. N.B. I'm a long time web developer and Image acquirer (for reference only). The closest you can get is to use the watermark feature.
