Hi:
I write here because i need some help with the following problmem.
I installed in my server the last version of Wordpress (2.5.1) and the last one of Gallery2. Then i installed Wpg2 plugin and when i activated it, Wordpress Crashed.
This is what appears on the index page in wordpress when i active the wpg2 plugin

Please, if you know why this is produced please tell me. By the way.. i've read in some other posts that similar problems are caused by apache rewrite mod.. i have to say i activated it in Gallery2.

No your issue is slightly different, that line is calling the Create User function and trying to look up a user that is being rejected by Gallery2..
Do you get the same error when you visit the WPG2 Gallery2 Users Tab?

When you say WPG2 gallery users tab.. are you refering to a tab inside wordpress? or in the gallery2?
Let me give you some answers to see if one of them is what you're asking me.
First of all, there is no Users tab in wpg2 inside Wordpress.
I can see users configuration from the admin panel in Gallery2 and that works fine. I think there's no problem with that. In guest view i cant find an users tab in Gallery.
By the way, i don't use the same user in WP and Gallery, the first one is admin but the second is "Perkin".. Can this cause trouble??
Please, feel free to enter my site and check my gallery as guest if you need to see something.

Should be under the Wordpress User Menu -> Gallery2 Users
I presume you have validated the WPG2 Plugin?

I found what you said under User Menu and this is the output:
What do you refer with "validate wpg2 plugin"? ... If you ask if i "activated" the plugin of course i did. I can tell you more, before uploading wpg2 into the server i tried it under Wamp in my computer and everything worked just fine.

Sorry, i saw what did you say about "validate wpg2"
Everything is ok. I have installed Imageframe and imageblock.. As i said, i tried everything in my PC under Wamp and it worked ok.

I am pretty sure it is a Gallery2 user issue.. Can you please read this topic and re-visit the Gallery2 Users Tab (it will crash) then cut and paste the Debug log for me..

After reading the log i realized what you said about users problem, so i changed the username of gallery2 from "perkin" to "admin".. matching the gallery2 admin with wordpress admin.. and now everything seems to work fine!...
I'd like to help to solve the problem, so anything you need just tell me..

I see the issue, I never tested the possibility that WPG2 cannot find any matching users, thus the routine just cannot cope with no users being returned..
Oversight on my behalf, I have opened a bug ticket on this for the next release..
Loving that debug log, makes my job sooo much easier ;)
