no square thumb in random block

Hello,
i'm a happy user of menalto gallery:

Some days ago I switched to the square module, and now my albums looks really nice. The problem is that the random thumbnails in my sliding sidebar is also square.
I want to use the square module, but at the same time is it possible to have normal thumbnails in the random block?
