Image Block - http requests to the same server disabled

Hi Guys,

I have a BIG problem... Hope someone can help.

My host (Heart Internet) doesn't allow http requests to the same server. This means I can't use Image Block. But I want to have rndm imgs across the site.
They gave me this code:

$g2_view="imageblock.External";
$g2_blocks="randomImage";
$g2_show="title";
@include('/home/sites/MYDOMAIN/public_html/gallery/main.php');

But this includes the entire gallery without images (pls see attachement). So what do I do?

PS: isn't this setting of my host ridiculous? I can't have RSS for my own site on my own site neither because of this.
