I have installed this but it is not working. I emailed SnapGalaxy about this and they replied almost immediately. They are working with the Gallery developers on a fix.

As a photographer who has generated over $10,000 in revenue through Digibug in the last eleven months, I am looking for a better alternative. Digibug's response time to email is terrible. Their payment seems to be slower and slower each month. For example, it is now 2/14, I am owed about $300 in commission from January and the check hasn't even been printed yet, much less mailed to me. My commission check for December was shorted by over $100, and this error was not rectified until I sent an email to Digibug demanding payment - we were not fully paid by Digibug for December until almost the end of January.

Also, as someone who has other shooters working under my banner, I need to be able to SEE the images purchased through Digibug so I know who gets how much money from each order. This feature is broken on Digibug's site all the time, (in fact, it is broken RIGHT NOW) which is a major PITA.

Also, I had a customer place an order on 12/29/07, their credit card was billed, the order showed as shipped, etc. This customer emailed me last week (early February 08) wanting to know where their order is. The response from Digibug was that the order was never printed. No explanation WHY, just that it didn't happen. They say they are printing it now and will ship it, but this makes my company look awful.

Granted, Snapgalaxy does not have coffee mugs, mousepads, magnets, etc like Digibug does, but I am willing to give up a few products if it means fast customer response and quicker payment.

Also, Digibug has upped their "take" to 20% while Snapgalaxy is still at 15%.

I will post more once the module is up & running.

I have applied the fix and it works just fine - the folks at SnapGalaxy were kind enough to send me a few free sample photos so I can have a look at their packaging, print quality, etc - I'll post again later this week after I recieve their shipment.

One request - and I don't know if this is do-able or not - with all my business being right here in SE Ohio, is there any way of removing all the pricing, currency, etc that refers to India in the module? I think it may confuse people here locally who have never seen anything in any of our purchasing options but dollars to begin with.

Just a thought.

Brad

Thanks for the feedback, bradm77. The current module/process was designed to serve worldwide customers from our two centers. We will certainly look into providing preference-based module, though.

Thanks.

Hi -

I'm currently running Gallery 2.3 (latest version), and have the "Cart" and "DigiBug" plugins enabled/working.

Today, I tried to use SnapGalaxy. I activated the plugin, then set the "SnapGalaxy partner ID" to my username (name I sign-in as at Snapgalaxy.com).

When I added a photo to my cart, then chose "Print using Snapgalaxy", I get:

>> SnapGalaxy Fulfillment Error
>> An error occurred while sending your photos over to SnapGalaxy.com

Do I need to do something special over at SnapGalaxy.com to enable access from Gallery?

Is my "SnapGalaxy partner ID" something different than my signin name at SnapGalaxy.com?

Thanks for any help you can offer!

Hello, SnapGalaxy.

Is there a way to localize your system for a different language? In my case, we need the pages in Spanish. Maybe we could cooperate and we could generate a Spanish translation for your shopping kart.

Greetings,
Arturo
