Hi, Gallery Bridge is working fine. However I can't login to my standalone Gallery anymore. The only way to login to my standalone Gallery is trough Joomla/Bridge. I have to login into Joomla and then change the URL in my browser to the standalone path. If I try to login directly in the standalone, it says my password is wrong (although my password is exactly the same in Joomla and Gallery).
It isn't a problem, I can live with that.
The problem is, I can't use Gallery Remote to upload pics to gallery. It gives me an error message saying that I am using a CMS. However, there is no Joomla option in the CMS drop down list.
Do anyone know how to fix it? or if is there any way around that?

Thanks,

I am using Gallery Bridge 2.0.14

I'm having the same problem. Only the changing the path ...com/gallery2/ leaves me logged out.
Your change cannot be completed due to a loss of session data. Please try again. If it still doesn't work, try logging out and logging back in.

I use Gallery Remote as if Gallery is standalone, and use the non-embedded path. If you can log into Gallery directly without going through Joomla, create an account and grant it admin rights, then use it to login with GR.

Guys, please note that the g2bridge 2.0.14 on 4theweb has some bugs into it - like user sync.

Normally, even bridged, gallery should be able to work standalone.

I cant connect to gallery2 - fresh G2 install today - fresh download of bridge for Joomla - fresh download of Gallery remote

If I use the gallery remote - and setup the location of the core G2 install it wont connect saying - cannot find gallery_remote2.php

following instruction I added the gallery_remote2.php file the suggested - contents - still getting the same error

assuming its the G2 Joomla bridge preventing connection - although it shouldnt - since im connecting to the core install

6 months since this post was in action - hmmm - you would think this would be resolved in fresh downloads - grrr

sorry - just super frustrated!

what now?
