Joomla and G2

I'm running Joomla_1.0.12 and also gallery-2.2.1-full, both work well individually and I'm happy with both items, I have tried to integrate them both together using com_joomlalib_1_3_1 and com_gallery2_v2.0.14_beta
The bridge is kind of working but I'm having a few problems, under the theme settings in G2 my theme does not show up; I only see the default theme, is there something I have done wrong?

Also if you take a look at http://www.connor-cheatle.co.uk/index.php click the gallery link on the left, you will see a album I have created click into the gallery then select a picture you will see that the picture is slightly larger that the area it should be in, this forces it further down the page, what do I need to change so I can make the image smaller
