I have Gallery 2 embedded with Drupal (although I dont think this matters... it should work the same on the regular Gallery2 site as well)...
I have it set so that when users access their album it is created, but sometimes people are just poking around curious and click on their album and dont actually upload anything. Then you have an empty album sitting there and when people want to browse the user's albums they have to click through these empty ones (i find really annoying).
How can I hide empty albums from the display? I found an older article where someone modified the album.tpl file to accomplish this but they ran into some issues (they also didnt explain very well what they modified...just that they added some additional code that they gave snippets of... I wasnt sure where to put it).
Anyhow, it looks like this was done a few years back but I dont see anything new or recent on it; Has anyone done this now? It seems like it should just be an option in Gallery 2.
Thanks.

Same exact situation here... and I can't seem to find any existing plugin to do this.
I'm familiar with PHP, but not with G2 and would rather not have to make the plugin myself.
