Siriux Theme Joomla Embed problem

I am trying to embed Gallery2 into my Joomla site and would like to use the Siriux theme. However, when using the Siriux theme, I get a huge amount of space in the body of the page. This space increases as I add more items to the sidebar and decreases when I remove items, however, it is still to large even with just the Main menu enabled in Joomla.
