What is the easiest way to auto resize uploaded pictures to max height of 400px (for example)?

Edit the setting in the album, then tick the boxes for rebuild?

FAQ: Why can't I upload big files (over a megabyte or two)?

There is usually a PHP file upload limit built into the server software. Yo must have your provider change this for you, or change it yourself with a .hta or php.ini file.

What I want, that auto resize smaller. If anyone uploading a large file (example 2Mega),resize only 500kbyte, after auto delete that bigger uploaded file. Only resized 500kbyte photo on the server.
Possible?
If not, which program/software know that?

Thanks from Hungary.

I have not used the http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery2:Modules:sizelimit module but it might fit your needs.
