Sorry, but is it possible to have the same login from Joomla website and Gallery 2?
Now I have to login into Joomla but when I click on Gallery (out from Joomla site, in a new window) the user has to login again.

Thanks

thanks Slayegirl...
I've installed the integration. I've synched the users from Joomla to Gallery 2 but when I login to Joomla It doesn't result in Gallery2.
Then I've tried to log in to Gallery 2 directly, but I cannot login because, maybe, during the synch Gallery 2 didn't receive the password of my users.
Gallery 2 doesn't accept the password.

Could it be possible?

thanks
Walter

Hi Walter!

Pls. make sure if all users have been actually synchronized to G2?
-> Most likely they haven't!

Hi hhtmp88,
I think that all users have been synchronized...after synch the bridge says 6 of 6.
I'm working on my new website and all users are a test.

My settings are:
Mirrors Users: yes
Users Compare Level: username
Case sensitive: yes (but I've tried also "No")

I'm not able to continue :(

Thanks for your help
Walter

Don't believe the message and check account by account yourself
-> i.e. if you have user1 in Joomla, check if user1 is also in g2!

Dear all,
I tried to access yesterday http://forum.4theweb.nl but no success.
For convenience, please find the bug-fixed bridge at http://www.e-poze.ro/g2bridge.
As I said in a previous post, I do not know whether michiel managed to include the bug-fixes in the downloadable section of it's site.

For any problem, feel free to contact..

I've just installed all again...but I'm at the same point.
6 of 6 users synch...but when I logged in joomla, it doesn't appear in Gallery 2 and also Gallery 2 doesn't accept the password of users.

:(

Is there a method to check the synch of users instead to check from "User Management" of Joomla Panel?

thanks
Walter

@ hhtmp88:
yes. I've installed also com_gallery2_2.0.14_serbanc.tgz....

@ serbac:
yes...but I'm trying to check it with a different method because from gallery 2 component seems ok...all users are synch but Gallery 2 doesn't accept their password.

It's my users panel of Gallery 2 component...

ps. I've installed Gallery 2 and I used the same user and password for Administrator. Then I've installed the bridge and I've synchronized the users.
The system says 6 of 6 users synch....

Galley 2 doesn't accept the password of Joomla registration. I have to log in again to Gallery 2 and I must forced each password of users. After forcing password from users list of Gallery 2 administration panel the user can log in Gallery 2 but not directly from Joomla...

There is something wrong with your setup.
I must admit that this is the first time when I hear such an error.
At some point, it was the other way around, once logged in, you were not logged out.

Anyway, let's make some cleanup.
Clear cache and cookies on your browser.
If does not work, let's check the error-log of apache (if apache).

I have created a few different users to test my website and this could make problems with the cookies...maybe?

How can I check the error-log?

Thank you very much
