Highlight Selected Photos

Hi,

I've looked around a bit, but I have not been able to find an answer. So I thought I'd see if there's anyone here that can help me out.

Basically this is what I want to be able to do:
- I want to "star" selected photos accross different albums of my gallery.
- I then want a module or something that I can put on my main site, which randomly selects a number of photos to display, selecting only photos that have been starred.

Is there an easy way to achieve this, preferably with a customizable layout for the module?

Any comments or suggestions are appreciated.
