Hiding "page #" if only one page exsist

I'm using Gallery2 with Matrix theme.
for some weired reason there is a "page 1" in the top of the page, even that there is only 17 pics that spreads on a single page.

can anyone tell what file I should look at?
I couldn't find it in the theme setting via the browser so I'm guessing one .tpl

any ideas?

Does anyone know of some simple code that could be used to hide the "Page 1" text when an album only has one page?
