[Checkout] Selling individual items not related to an individual photo

Good day to all of you fellow gallery junkies... I will try to ask this in a way which makes sense but if I don't seem to, feel free to let me know. Currently, I have gallery configured like most people, I have albums and in those albums, I have photos and for each photo, there are a list of associated products you can buy in relation to that photo. Here's my dilema; I have to sell proof books, DVDs with photos on it, and a couple other individual items. These items would not make sense to add to the cart for one picture, so how would I have say a separate section that has individual items for sale? I also want to be able to allow the users to add these items to the same cart that they have for the prints... and I am using the checkout module, with checkout with email and checkout with paypal. If anyone has a suggestion or can point me to an existing module that does this (I couldn't find it if it exists), that would be awesome. Maybe there's some simple solution that I am overlooking when accessing my thoughts.
