Upgrade from Gallery 2 Beta 3 (bingo) to Gallery 2.1 (blackjack)

Hello,

I would like to upgrade Gallery 2, Beta 3 (bingo) to latest stable build 2.1.
Is it possible to make an upgrade directly? Or do I have to upgrade to 2.0 first?

What to I have to take in concern when I upgrade since I already have albums/pictures in my gallery?
I do not use and third party modules except the information mentioned below (system info).

Gallery version = 2.0-beta-3 core 0.9.17
PHP version = 4.3.8 apache2handler
Webserver = Apache/2.0.50 (Linux/SUSE)
Database = mysql 4.0.21
Toolkits = ArchiveUpload, Exif, ImageMagick, NetPBM, Thumbnail
Operating system = Linux linux 2.6.8-24.20-default #1 Thu Feb 2 20:46:50 UTC 2006 i686

Direct upgrade should work... make sure to backup (database,g2data,config.php) before upgrading.

A full backup = DB + g2data + config.php + [ .htaccess if you have one ]
