additional colorpacks go in modules/colorpack/packs. each colorpack has its own directory there with a color.css inside. once the files are in place you should be able to select the colorpack in G2 (using a theme that supports colorpacks).

I just realized mindless and many thanks for your reply....that version 2.0.4 doesn't seem to hsve the option for colour pakcs, like my other version 2.0.2....
Would you concur that's the reason? Thanks again for your time.....

there are no feature differences between 2.0.x versions.
maybe you had 2.0.2-full and now you have 2.0.4 minimal or typical.

Thank you again mindless. Can you direct me how to find out or look somwhere to see if the one with no colour pack is minimal or typical?
Are these things that can be downloaded or the likes?

click downloads at the top of this page.. follow the link for Gallery 2.x. you'll see Gallery 2.1, but that page also has a link for 2.0.4 downloads. it has all packages and even individual plugin downloads.

Hello Mindless and others, sorry for the delay in response.
I was wondering, can you tell me how to go about adding the colour pack into the gallery once it's downloaded. I don't see anywhere to upload it under the admin screens.
Thanks for your help, it's very much so appreciated.

just extract the files you download.. a new directory should be created in modules/colorpack/packs

How do I extract? and I dont see anything regarding new directories in the admin settings, can you shed some light there for me? You've been such a help.

unzip file.zip
you don't have to do anything with G2.. there are no admin screens to install a colorpack.. just put the files in the right place.

Ok Mindless thank you.....I have unzipped the folders. On my hard drive. I'm not an admin of the gallery, does that make a difference?
Also, putting the files in the right place? Manually?
I'm probably testing your patience, so thank you for all this.
