Recommended image size for uploads (4x6 or 5x7)

Sorry if this been asked before. I'm uploading a large number of images to our gallery and I don't want to waste space. What resolution and DPI would you recommend if I wanted to allow people to print out 4x6 or 5x7 photos from the gallery Dave |
