why deleted photo using command still exist in the album ?

can anyone tell why the deleted photo using remote host command still exist when browsing album ? Moreover, I use webdrive to modify some photoes, these changes took place in the g2data folder, but can not be shown in the album page. thanks !

Gallery version 2.1-rc-1a
PHP version 4.4.2 apache2handler
Webserver Apache/2.0.55 (Unix) DAV/2 PHP/4.4.2
Database mysql 4.1.11
Operating system Linux se2-pc11 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4smp #1 SMP Thu Jun 2 23:08:39 EDT 2005 i686

do never touch the g2data folder yourself. it's managed by G2 and if you change something in g2data yourself, you're likely to break g2.

I just want to test how it interact with G2, coz I am trying use webdav to manage it concurrently. can anyone tell the working mechanism of how G2 control g2data? thanks !
