[error] PHP Warning: getimagesize()

Getting this in the error_log every time I try to add an image-

[error] PHP Warning: getimagesize() [<a href=&#039;http://www.php.net/function.getimagesize&#039;>function.getimagesize</a>]: Read error! in {{{PATH}}}/gallery/util.php on line 473

(I edited and added {{{PATH}}}- it's the location to gallery directory on my server.)

I've checked the path, I've browsed to it, I've checked the privileges, I've tried uploading as ZIP, I checked the file size, I'm not running Apache 2x so I don't think I need to worry about upload corruption.

I'm uploading a file on the same system that is running gallery. (IE- I'm running the browser on, the file exists on, and gallery is running on- the same system.)

Here's the debugging output-

Yep.. me having the exact same problem too...

I am running PHP 4.3 as a module with apache 1.3...

If my zip file has about 10 jps files then normally 2 get extracted and uploaded ok while the rest generate same error as Dave

Finally.. when i use uploading folder, if the folder has more than 5 files it wont upload, it gets stuck trying to upload the first file...

File size is not an issue because all my tested zip files are below 1Mb and i have searched and changed time limit, upload limit size and memory etc...

So what else could be wrong :sad:?

Same error here. Worked great for about 30 images, now every other image it errors out with:

Warning: getimagesize: Read error! in /util.php on line 174

And other line numbers for the same file, same error. It also appared to corrupt one of my albums, as it says on the main screen:

Attention Gallery Administrator!

Gallery has detected the following directories:
<directories here>
