Permission setting for non- and viewable (public) albums

I have installed gallery 2 with the themefile "PG-Theme" from WWW.PEDROGILBERTO.NET.

The little problem who i have is, to setting up the right permissions to single albums. Tree albums are not for public access. I setting up a group for some members and this work fine. When a member of this group are made a login, they can see all the three albums with subfolders...
But i will set up some public folders. For this folder(s) i set up the user "guest" with this permission settings:
1. guest [core] View all versions
2. guest [comment] Add comments
3. guest [comment] View comments

But when a guest open the gallery, the see nothing. And when they register, they see nothing more than before (OK, i dont set permissions for registered users ;-) ). What i must do, that guests can see the public folders without registering at my gallery?

Which permissions did you set for the directory's? Try 777 otherwise, normally this would help.
Search the forum otherwise if this wont work, i think i saw something like your problem.
I had thesame on my site for the pictures of cartridges.

All permissons of each album are on 755. And i can't change them. The server answered, that i have not enough permission to edit some configurations. I think, Gallery grab all settings for "himself". But when this is the problem, i must contact my provider.

But i dont think, that the permissions make the trouble. I have testing some individual permission settings for a new user... But the only user who can see some albums, is my first user from the gallary who i register self after installing the system. All users who i set up after the first user, can't see the albums in the gallery... With the same permission settings.
And when i addet a new user to the existing group who i place the first user, they have the same problem. No albums inside after registering.

By the way... here are some informations abotu my server vonfig:
Gallery-Version = 2.0.2 Kern 1.0.0.2
PHP-Version = 4.4.1 apache
Webserver = Apache/1.3.27 (Linux/SuSE) mod_fastcgi/2.4.2 FrontPage/4.0.4.3 PHP/4.4.1
Datenbank = mysql 4.0.25-Max-log
Werkzeuge = Exif, SquareThumb, Thumbnail, Gd
Betriebssystem = Linux dd1036 2.4.20-4GB-athlon #1 Mon Mar 17 17:56:47 UTC 2003 i686
Browser = Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; de; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5
