Direct link to an album in gallery 2.02

Is there a way that each folder can be setup to have a direct link?

eg http://sitename/gallery/album

which will take you direct to the album instead of browsing to the gallery then to the album

suggestions welcome. I am using Gallery 2.02

don't quite understand what you mean.

already tried activating the url rewrite module?

Sorry, little vague, just wondering if there is a direct link to a album or folder which is created,

for example when right clicking on the ablum it gives you a long listed url, just wondering if there is a way for this to be a shorter so it makes it easier to enter url into the web address line.

sorry havn't tried url rewrite still working out how to get it activated.

then please enable the rewrite module.

I enabled the rewrite module, but it's not clear to me how this is actually used. I looked at the control panel, etc.

I recall that Gallery 1 had a direct url to the Album, which you could do:

http://yoursite.com/gallery/albumname

and there you were.

This would be handy to have for some albums I utilize... and disable backtracking up a level, too.
