Browser = Firefox or Konqueror
Dragging files from the Konqueror file manager into the Upload applet does not work. This occurs with both the Firefox and Konqueror web browser. The icon for the dragged file changes to indicate that the applet can accept a dropped file. The applet shows a small black bar at the top of the file list area indicating where the file will be placed. However, when you release the file nothing happens.
When files are dragged from the Nautilus file manager into the applet, it works without issue. The problem only appears when dragging from the Konqueror file manager into the upload applet.
This occurs using Konqueror 3.4.3 as the file manager. Does anyone know of any way to resolve this issue? My wife would like to continue to use the upload applet.

the upload applet is part of the Gallery Remote Framework.
if it doesn't work with the upload applet, probably it doesn't work with GR either.

I hadn't noticed that. I guess I'll ask over on that side.
Edit: Oh, I see you moved it. Thanks.
The issue does also appear using the standalone gallery remote. It works fine in Gnome, but not in KDE.
