Remove Left-Sidebar from specific Pages?

Is there a away to remove the sidebar on the upload page? I'm using gallery2 on my Joomla! site, and it works great with the sidebar component, except that sometimes it doesn't capture the sidebar from G2 and it gets displayed on the mainpage instead of in the Joomla! module. If I could remove the sidebar from the upload page that would fix my problem, right now it's the only page on my site that causes the main content to drop down one row in IE.

I've read you post. I'm looking into it. I don't know of a "smooth" way of doing this. First I'd try the way Pedro did it with the PG Theme: http://www.pedrogilberto.net/gallery2/theme.html Notice the added code to sidebar.tpl and if you look at his theme you'll see how the sidebar visibility, location and size is controlled by CSS.

If you can't do that there, then you may need to edit /modules/core/templates/ItemAdmin.tpl where the sidebar for item admin pages is generated and you may need to edit ItemAdd.tpl which generates the content for upload page. If you just remove the sidebar from ItemAdmin.tpl it will effect all other item admin pages, like editing permissions, photos, album properties, etc. That's why I was trying to find a way to "hide" it just from the ItemAdd.tpl
