I have "created"... more like copied from others, but if you want to try it out I have the files on my site and also basic instructions how to get it looking like my site. I would love if anyone could try it out and let me know if I need to fix, change or add anything.
The basic design looks a lot like frommel.net's gallery site. Although this is in Gallery2.
I took the Matrix theme and used that as the base.
It is also integrated with Drupal.
Let me know,
Marty

Very cool. Nice work.
Question: On your splatbang website, how did you get the the big banner photo on your top level album to rotate the among the banner photos of your subalbums?

excellent theme!
it's really cool how you use a large random image at the top and how it's the highlight when you're in an album without subalbums.
awesome

ah, i just noticed that you're not using the imageblock randomImage thing for the large random image at the top. you're using javascript in the image description. nice hack
i guess with a little work one could use {g->block type="imageblock.ImageBlock" blocks="randomImage" itemId=$theme.itemId showDate=0 showOwner=0 showViews=0 showTitle=0 showHeading=0 useDefaults=0}
maybe not out of the box, but it could be worth a try...

If you want to Java script that I put into the Description field for the rotating images... go to my site that describes how to make your site look like mine. I am still working on the format of the "how-to" page, but you can see the code at the bottom of the page.

I love this theme! I'm going to use it on my site. I have a question though, at the top of the page were you have the adds, how did you get it there? I want to put the banner for my site there and I can't figure it out. I'm still really new at this. Thanks!

Thanks! Send me your URL when you finish it... I would love to see your site.
As for the ads. I signed up with Google Ads https://www.google.com/adsense/ and then just copied the code into my page.
I am using Drupal as my content management software so unless you are using that software it won't help for me to tell you where I put it.
Otherwise you can just paste the code in Gallery on any template you would like.

I'll try to figure it out. I'll send you the URL when it's finished.
One other question, sorry, is it possible to get text under the small thumbnails?
Thanks for the kick ass theme btw!

It is very easy to add text under the thumbnails. It displays whatever you have in the title field. I put info into the keyword field so that I can search on it, but it will not display. As soon as you put text under the photos, it screws up the seperation between the thumbnails. I just liked the clean look.

I'm almost done, finally! I've got just a few questions I hope you can help me with.
How do you add links to the links up top, where log in and your account, etc. are located? I would like to add links to my forum and an faq page there, but I can't seem to figure it out. I tried adding it to the theme.tpl file, but the links didn't work. They weren't lined up and appeared more than once.
I was also curious as to which file I need to edit to change the font for the sidebar image blocks? Would you know where to find this? I need to change the colors.
Thanks for any help you can provide, I'm loving this theme!
I'll be sure to send you a link when it's finished!
