I just wanted to repost my comments to those of you having this problem when trying to upload (or import) from a Zip Archive file.
The key issue I recognized from that link was that the reporter stated, "When uploading a zip that has at least one folder i get [error]"
I realized that the problem was how I create my ZIP archives.
Generally, in Windows XP, I highlight a FOLDER and do Send to -> Compressed Zip (folder). This is ok, except, for the purposes of using that archive with G2 because it creates a folder INSIDE the archive.
So, as a work around... I go INTO the folder that has all of my photos and select them all (CTRL-A)... Then I do Send to -> Compressed zip (folder).
The difference between the two methods is that the second way DOES NOT create an actual FOLDER *IN* the archive. It's just the actual pictures themselves. The earlier method of selecting the folder creates a Zip that extracts to a FOLDER instead of the individual files.
After uploading a zip archive with just the files in it, and running my upload from that archive, G2 worked flawlessly.
I hope this helps you all.
