Hello, I was wondering if anyone had a solution for hiding the Item Actions block on pages where there are no photos (just albums). I'm hoping to use this method to keep the slideshow link from showing when it would do the user no good. Thanks! //craig |

Simply remove the item actions sidebar block from the theme in your gallery's administration part.
admin->themes->themename->
find the part about sidebars (there are three) and remove the item actions where you don't want them. (And add them to the items sidebar if not there)

Right right -- but I'm interested in keeping it on album pages, and only if there are photos to show (and not just a page full of sub-albums).

What you need requires programming. Perhaps it is a nice idea to have some context sensitive thing being added to gallery if possible at all. You could make it a feature request and see if other people want it as well? I think it would be a nice idea, not a must have though...
