The pointer to the Paypal Checkout bits was "Right-On". Easy to install, easy to use, I like it!

Thanks a bunch, much appreciated, now I'd better go thank the author, eh?

Not sure if this is the right forum, if not, please point me in the right direction. Also, if this has been answered, chastise me soundly for not searching well enough, but then point me in the right direction please

I just downloaded G2-RC2 last night, installed, migrated from G1, all in the course of a couple of hours, wow! What I would like to do is to make both a generic "Checkout" module, where i do all the fulfillment myself, as well as have a way to set pricing for the current modules, such as Shutterfly. Have either of these been done, is this all part of the PayPal Checkout module, do I just use one of the current modules, such as Shutterfly, and hack in my own bits? Are there more questions I should be asking but have not????

Thanks in advance for responses, you can be assured that if we do something of a "Generic" nature it will be passed along.

*SMACK* There's your chastising for not searching well enough ;)

Checkout this thread, about the Paypal module:
http://gallery.menalto.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=33116

I'm pretty sure what you're looking for is there for you to do the processing yourself. I'd have to read through it again though to be sure.

Here I am, new guy on the block, and whacked upside the head right off the bat

That thread I had found, note my comment regarding the PayPal module. At least I know I am on the right track. It sounds, then, as if I should closely examine those bits, correct? I have just downloaded them and will begin slogging my way through tonight. Just one more thing to occupy my time, not that any of YOU have that problem....

Thanks for the pointer, and confirming that I was at least headed in the right direction.
