How to move G2 from one dir to another?

How do I move my gallery 2 script from one location to another without losing any of my data?

I've tried simply renaming the directory & changing the URL in the last setting in config.php, but it still tries to load everything from the old directory.

E.g., rename "gallery2" to "gallery" (directory) and change the URL in the last setting of config.php from "http://www.mydomain.com/gallery2" to "http://www.mydomain.com/gallery"

Any help is much appreciated!
