G2B3 hidden installation GalleryRemoteApplet.properties

Hi,

although G2B3 runs in the internet onto FreeBSD (another test also with FC2, RH2El3)

why does G2B3 create a hidden

c:\documents\username\.GalleryRemote
c:\documents\username\.GalleryRemote\GalleryRemoteApplet.properties

with entries

onto my PC (WinXP)? The firewall of WinXP was on and I was not noticed, that the G2B3-server in the internet will also change something onto the users' computer?

GalleryRemote runs on your computer! so it stores your preferences on your computer, that's all.

Upload applet and fullscreen slideshow applet in G2 are both part of "Gallery Remote".
