I want to upgrade my commercial site to use a more sophisticated image management system. In many respects, Gallery would be able to do this. But what I can't find is the ability for a single image to be in multiple albums, or categorised in multiple categories. Either I can't find it or it's not there! I want to try to cut down on storage, and the management of images, but also give my customers better access to those images via search and better category management. Oh, and thought the install was great - very easy. Gareth |

category management (or what i call a relational view to G2, as G2 is organized hierachically as you organize image albums intuitively that way) is on the to do list of G2.

linked items already exist in G2. for the exact purpose to link an item from one album to others without having to store the original item twice on the filesystem.
when you use the search function of the forums, you can find a few threads where linked items / item links, categories, ... are discussed.

Thanks for that - I'll search and see what I can find. It's useful to know the terms that are used within Gallery, though to make the searching much more targeted.
