Lost an album dir how to get ride of the album?

I just updated to the latest gallery2 CVS code, and have noticed that it's much faster than previous. Well done! However, I have stupidly deleted a directory in an album at the file system level, but now I can't get ride of the corresponding gallery2 sub-album. Is there a way to delete a mysql record or something to get ride of the sub-album? Or perhaps is there a way to 're-sync' the gallery2 database with the realities of the file system? maybe try creating the directory (using php) so it has something to delete?
