Problem with full size photos

Hi!

I just upgraded from version 1.4.4 to 1.5-RC1
1.4.4 worked fine but in 1.5-RC1 I have following problem:
Images smaller than my gallery default photo size (640x480) are treated as full size images and therefore cannot be viewed by users who are not permitted to see full size images.
For example when uploading 1024x768 image aaa.jpg, aaa.sized.jpg and aaa.thumb.jpg files are created. But when uploading 500x375 image only aaa.jpg and aaa.thumb.jpg are created.
In new version it seems that users that are not allowed to see full size images can see only aaa.sized.jpg and aaa.thumb.jpg
Or am I missing something?
