Pop-Up Option? Pics Too Big

Hi guys! I'm using Gallery V. 1.4 for my photos in Mambo 4.5. I'm not exactly sure if this is possible, but I'm using a custom template in Mambo and I just installed Gallery to display inside my Mambo template. My problem is when I click on a picture to view in the gallery that's a pretty good size, it stretches out the entire template and looks ugly. Does anyone know of a way to set this up so that if it's a certain size it displays the image as a pop-up in a seperate window so people are spared the ugliness? Here is an example of what I'm talking about. Pretty and inside the template: Ugly and after you click:
See how it pushes that badboy all the way to the right? Hopefully you guys can help! Thanks. |

Yeah I read it. I clicked on the first link and didn't see the 2nd link until after I continued to read Sorry about that.
I uploaded the files in the .zip, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong. It doesn't seem to be working.

When I click on the pics it doesn't seem to be poping up. Any idea why?

SWOLE,
I have not used the mod but I suspect that you need to have intermidiate images. Play in the album properties with the sizes & fit-to-window and see if that helps.

Well, I tried some smaller images and I even tried another template, but it still just won't pop. I'm using 1.4.4-pl4 v.
Do you think that could be a problem?

at your site ( http://cardinalempire.com/gallery/ ) I am unable to see any images that have a intermediate size. Can you make a album for me and send me a pm with the login info and I will see what I can do.

I was thinking about trying to go back to 1.4.3-pl1
Does anyone have the .zip file for this since I can't seem to find it on the downloads page?

Don't! It has security issues.
under the albums properties you are given a option to show a intermediate size. You can specify this size. So your user would click on the thumb, be given a intermaidate size and then click again and get the full image. With this mod the full image is in a popup. Rebuild the thumbs after you make changes.

One thing I noticed I could do is go into resize photo and make it 400 so that it won't spread out the template. But the problem I have now is, when I click on the picture to get the popup, I get a white Error 404 screen for a second and then I go right back to the frontpage.
BTW, this only happens in the template. If I do it under the admin page, it pops up fine.
Do you know what may be causing that?

I can also tell ya this. In standalone, when I hover over the image I get the URL

and it'll work fine
in mambo I get this when I hover over the SAME image.

I don't do embedded. Sorry. So it works fine in standalone? If it does then I guess you will have to mod the image_wrap.inc to point to the correct location in your enviroment. Try looking through the Gallery in other applications forum.

Yeah it works perfectly fine in standalone. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to mod the image_wrap.inc file, so unless anyone has any other ideas I may be out of luck.
