Hi,

I uploaded an image at 1024x768 without problems to the barnowl centre album and then went to add a resized image using the edit photo scale option and received this error

Error (ERROR_UNSUPPORTED_OPERATION) : ${1}150 image/jpeg
in modules/core/classes/GalleryDerivative.class at line 337
in modules/core/classes/GalleryDerivativeImage.class at line 187
in modules/core/classes/helpers/GalleryDerivativeHelper_advanced.class at line 685
in modules/core/classes/helpers/GalleryDerivativeHelper_simple.class at line 65
in modules/core/ItemDelete.inc at line 231
in modules/core/ItemAdmin.inc at line 152
in modules/core/classes/GalleryView.class at line 246

Now the image shows as a broken link and I can't delete the photo using "delete photo" so I can replace it. Is this a known 'feature'?

Any help much appreciated, equally I can provide pretty much open access to my site if the programmers wish to debug

Happy 2005

Hi mindless, as my gallery now has close to a 1000 images uploaded into it I will install a new copy of the gallery and try to recreate the problem. It would be nice to be able to remove the "deleted" graphic place holder in the existing gallery though (2nd page of the Barn owl centre album)

this link http://www.thelewiss.co.uk/G2/main.php?g2_view=core:ShowItem&g2_itemId=2780&g2_page=2 will show you the error. There are alot of error messages appearing at the top of the gallery

ok problem was sorted by directly editing the database to remove any references to the "trashed" image. Seems to be fine again now

ya, the delete photo page shows the image thumbnail.. i agree this page should still be able to function if it is unable to build the thumbnail. if you find steps to reproduce the ${1} error then let us know.

ok, ItemDelete and ItemEdit should come up now even if the thumbnail is broken.

sounds like the same thing that happens when trying to create thumb or edit thumb for movie files.
