Configuration Wizard Step1, problem with .htaccess

I have tried EVERYTHING i can think of (not necessarily a whole lot), but I still get the message In step 1 of configuration that "Apache is not obeying the 'php_value' lines in your .htaccess file." I have added the suggested lines to httpd.conf, as well as changing all instances of AllowOverride to AllowOverride All...still no dice. Also, I followed advice given by apache to put garbage in the .htaccess file to see if apache was processing them, and indeed it spat out an error, verifying that apache is reading the .htaccess. What else can I try? Thanks! -Kurt |
