Hi, sorry if this is a stupid question. I read all the other posts and I coudln't seem to find an solution. Maybe I missed something.
Anyway what I did was install a test Mambo at "www.mysite.com/mambotest/"
Then I uploaded the unzipped gallery to "www.mysite.com/mambotest/gallery/" and I followed the installation instuctions showned to me when I go to that address.. I configured everything. I even set the option of Embed Gallery to Mambo. After configuring it, the gallery is up and running. (I haven't tested it with pics yet)
Here's my question, how is it embeded? When I create a new user in Mambo, that user cannot login to gallery. The Gallery doesn't display within Mambo. Did I miss something?
Thanks.

You need to install Gallery as a Component in Mambo.
In the Mambo administrator, go to Components, and then fill in the path to the
gallery/contrib/mambo directory and press Install. Then fill out the information on the Gallery component configuration screen. (Path to Gallery.)

noooo. Ok that was what I was missing but when I tried it, i get a "installation file not found" error. It is weird because my directory is correct and I see the files there but I get that error.

You're using Mambo 4.5.1, aren't you?
4.5.1 changed several things, and Gallery 1.4.4-pl2's install files are not currently compatible with it.

I thought I saw it somewhere. You read the following thread to install Gallery for Mamb 4.5.1. http://forum.mamboserver.com/showthread.php?t=17693
It worked for me with no problems.
