I am trying to figure out how to change the size of the main album pictures. The picture is associates with the albums you create. I just think it is too large. It is larger then the thumbnail pictures within the album itself.
Setup the gallery again, between all the options you can set the size of the main album pics...

in your case you think it is too large, but in my case i thought it was too small, but then I found out that the thumbnail is not recreated from the original and bigger size but only diplayed bigger which obviously appears all pixely... Is there any way to prevent that and have Gallery reactualise the thumbnail?
On the same note, if I decide that the thumbnails in an album I have are too small, and I set (logged as admin) the thumbnails to be bigger, it doesn t actualise all the ones you already have but only takes into account the ones you upload after this modification...
Is there any way to remedy to that?
Cheers.

I would try rebuilding thumbnails.
Doesn't hurt.

will make sure to make a copy of the thumbnail before... cos nobody from the dvpt as confirmed me that this idea would not jam the Gallery.
Will let you know.

There's no need whatsoever to manually delete stuff, it will only have a negative impact on your gallery. Rebuilt thumbnails should set them in the new size. Just make sure you have that size entered in config.php (by the configuration wizard or manually) and in the properties of the album you're changing.

BorgKing is right...
Change the Highlight Image size in the Config Wizard, Step 3 I believe.
