gallery in Mambo 4.5 (Not 4.5.1 )

I've installed gallery OK and installed the Mambo component element. How do I get it to display in pages?? I read Jens' short text file on it but it wasn't really clear. ( Help please The stand-alone gallery can be viewed at www.harryltd.biz/gallery The site I will integrate it into is at fs2.harryltd.biz |

you need to install gallery as a component.
go into your mambo backend admin center, go to "components" and chose "install/uninstall". go to the bottom and chose the install option and browse for the "gallery.xml" file in your gallery\contrib\mambo folder. this will install the necessary files into your mambo database you need to edit to make the gallery show up. once this is done fill out the fields in the new 'gallery' component and then add the component as a menu option in your menu manager! good luck.
