Is there any plan to develop "Comment Migration"

I installed gallery2-2004-03-11.tar.gz.
But the migration module does not implement the Comment Migration.
Is there any plan to develop it?

My gallery's "album tree" had broken, because the filesystem crash.
The relationship between parent album and child album is not correct.

What can I do for the develop?

When I migrated, I have one problem.
Encoding. Maybe we should add an option.
Let the admin to choose the encoding of original system.
Because multibyte charset will goes wrong with the utf8.
We can use the iconv function?

I'm not sure how to help you fix your album tree. You should try to fix it in G1 first. My advice is to make backups.

As to encoding, yes, I do have plans for converting G1's various data encodings into UTF-8, but that will take time. If you want to help with that, please visit this thread and follow the instructions there:

jmullan, please test out migrating a photo with "quotes" in the caption.. seems to cause a problem in the alt text of thumbnails.. quotes I enter directly into G2 get encoded as &quot;
