This problem has occured to me several times -- some occuring for a few hours, others for days, all on 3 different servers: The images on my gallery's homepage disappears. Sometimes, when I go the gallery, all the images in its homepage are lost (header graphics, thumbnails, everything) but when I try to go to individual albums, everything goes ok. Now this might not be a problem when it's just incidental, but it becomes a sort a regular "cycle", each one lasts from an hour or so to 3 whole days! Please help! :???:

This doesn't sound like a Gallery problem.
You could check your web server logs to see if the missing pictures were requested at all. If not, perhaps something's wrong with your browser or Internet connection, especially if you see it on multiple galleries. If you can give a link, I'd be happy to see if it happens to me too.

Good day!
Thank you very much for your reply! Well, the site's ok now; just as I told you, it's just temporary. What I'm clueless about is that, for a browser/ISP problem, it's curious that it happened to me and to the person who *really* owned the site (who is halfway across the globe) in two consecutive ocassions. Coincidence?
Thanks anyways!

Does this happen consistantly even after you Shift+Refresh your browser to make sure the page gets requested again?

Yes, and that's what concerns me ... trying to refresh the page didn't do any good :???:

I can't think of anything  Do you have anything that you think might be the problem...anything in installation, run-time, etc..that looks weird (other than your original problem). Anything would be helpful--feel free the speculate.

Send a link. I'll at least try and see if it's reproducible here. What browser were you and the person across the globe using?

Thank you again for your replies! The gallery is located here: http://www.cichlidgallery.com/
As I mentioned before, the problem is gone now, but I'm still confused as why it did happened/happens. We were both using IE (I'm using 6, he's using 5 *I think*). Thanks again for your responses.
